In case you have changed your device, you can restore your wallet by implementing the backup procedures.
Please note that your backup key and your passcode is required in order to restore your wallet on your new device.
You may lose access to your assets without your passcode and your backup phrase. Please read the following steps to make complete your backup safely.
If you are using Android device, please be advised:
※Due to Android OS's technical feature, when you uninstall your app, your wallet data will be deleted and get initialized as well. In order to recover your assets, you will need to take a note of your backup phrase and your passcode and keep it securely.
When you are going to change your device from iOS to Android
※Some of the cryptocurrencies supported on iOS Ginco are not supported in Android version. Please note that the balance of these cryptocurrencies (BCH, LTC,TUSD, AirdropToken) will not be displayed.
Before you change your device to Android, please make sure to complete sending your BCH/LTC/TUSD/AirdropToken to exchanges or wallets that support these cryptocurrencies from your iOS Ginco.

How to Show Backup Key
Create a backup for the first time
- Start Ginco
- Tap the icon at the top right of the home screen
- Tap “Privacy & Security”
- (iOS)Tap “Backup” (Android) Tap “Backup Phrase”
- (iOS)Tap “Next” (Android) Tap “Create”
- (Android)Enter the passcode
- (iOS)Tap “I'm ready (Android) ”Tap “Close”
- Write down the backup key in the correct order. Spelling mistakes or mistaking orders could result in losing your assets.
- After completing, tap “Next”
- Enter the backup key in the correct order
- (iOS)Tap “Close” (Android) Tap “Back to top”
If you have created a backup before
- Start Ginco
- Tap the icon at the top right of the home screen
- Tap “Privacy & Security”
- (iOS)Tap “Backup Phrase” (Android) Tap “Show Backup Phrase”
- Enter the passcode
- Write down the backup key in the correct order. Spelling mistakes or mistaking orders could result in losing your assets.
- After completing, tap “Next”
- Enter the backup key in the correct order
- After completing, tap “Next”
- (iOS)Tap “Close” (Android) Tap “Back to top”
What if I forgot my passcode
In case you forgot your passcode, please contact Ginco support team.

Steps to transfer backup key to your new device
1. Install Ginco to the new device
2. Tap “Already have a wallet?”
3. Enter the backup key you wrote down earlier. Check the points below:
・No space before each word
・Correct word/spelling. ※The backup key can’t be transferred even with one letter missing or wrong
・Not using external keyboard
4. Tap “Next”
5. Enter the same password as the old device
6. Done
