About XRP

Ginco is now supporting XRP. 

Please read the following instructions before using XRP in Ginco.

About activating XRP wallet account

In order to receive XRP, first, you need to activate your wallet account. 

20XRP is required to activate your wallet account. Please understand that Ginco Inc. is not receiving this XRP, as this is the procedure required in the XRP protocol when activating a wallet. (FYI: Other XRP wallet also requires 20XRP for the account activation as well. )

How is it different from exchanges?

Cryptocurrency exchanges which ask users to enter destination tag own single to few numbers of addresses. In this system, they allocate the destination tags to each account. 

Ginco is private-type wallet. This means the XRP address is issued for each of our users, therefore you need to activate your account in order to start using your wallet.

Note

Please be advised: 

- Sending less than 20XRP to the unactivated address would cause sending error.  

- Please send more than 20XRP when you first receive XRP in Ginco.

- The 20XRP used for the account activation would not be displayed in your balance. 

(e.g. If you sent 100XRP, 20XRP would be used in the account activation, and remaining 80XRP would be displayed in your balance)

- Please understand that Ginco could not refund your asset once your sending transaction in Ginco is completed.
