To ensure the highest standard in security, Ginco has ended its support for iOS 10 from January 31st, 2019.
If you are using an iPhone 5/5c or an earlier model, please read the following instructions.
Support end date
January 31st, 2019
Subject Models
- iPhone models earlier than iPhone5, iPhone5c
- iPad models earlier than iPad 4th generation
- iPod Touch models earlier than the 5th generation
※Please note that our support is continuing for iPhone SE and iPhone 5s.
The models above would no longer be supported after January 31st, 2019 since it cannot update their version to iOS 11.
If you are using models that are not included in the list above, you could keep on using Ginco by updating your device's version to iOS 11 and after.
To our customers using subject models
If you are using Ginco on these subject models, please make sure you complete saving your backup phrase and the passcode before you move on to the following procedure.
Here are the instructions for how to complete your backup procedure:
If you are going to change your smartphone, please move on to No.1 in the following section.
If you are not going to change your smartphone, please move on to No.2 in the following section.
1. If you are upgrading your device to iPhone 5s or after
Please complete your backup and recover your wallet on your new iPhone. In order to complete your recovery on the new iPhone, you must have your backup phrase and your passcode.
Here are the instructions for how to complete your backup procedure:
2. If you are not going to upgrade to the new device
Please make sure complete your backup and send your assets outside of Ginco before the support ends.
