Dear Ginco users
Thank you for using Ginco Wallet.
This is a post-hardfork announcement about sending BCH to our users.
Please read through this page carefully for your information.
A hard fork has occurred
Hardfork has occurred on BCH blockchain on the early morning of the 16th Nov. 2018 (Japan Time). BCH has now split into two separate chains.
Please check the following link to read our policy.
If you had BCH stored in Ginco before the hardfork, you now have received Bitcoin SV to your private key.
We have confirmed that the replay protection has not been added to the BCH network at this point. Once it is added to the blockchain in the future, we would like to prepare for supporting Bitcoin SV in Ginco.
Be advised: We recommend NOT to send BCH right now
Since we respect the rights of our users, sending BCH is not restricted in Ginco.
However, if you send BCH without the replay protection added, unfortunately, there is a risk that Bitcoin SV will be sent from your wallet at the same time, which will lead to the loss of your asset.
In Ginco, you could send BCH at any time you wish. However, if doing so, please understand that how this could affect your assets, and please send BCH with your own responsibility.
We are going to update our announcement here in FAQ section, as soon as an official announcement from the developers has been made.
Thank you for your patience.
